Concurrent Enrollment (CE) provides prepared high school students with a challenging and rigorous college-level experience in high school.  The program allows students to become better prepared for the world of work or to complete selected college courses corresponding to the first year of coursework at a Utah public college or university. Students enroll in college course at their high school taught by high school teachers who meet adjunct faculty qualifications at the sponsoring university.  Students earn both credit at high school and also credit on a college transcript.  All concurrent courses lead to a university degree, either fulfilling general education requirements or designated elective requirements in specific areas of study.  

Currently, Davis School District partners with five higher education institutions to provide CE opportunities for our students:

• Weber State University

• Salt Lake Community College

• Utah State University

• Utah Valley University

• Southern Utah University
