Mission and Vision
The Communication Department builds public understanding and support for schools in the Davis School District.
It is responsible for internal and external communications for the district. It publishes press releases, annual reports, internal and external newsletters, produces videos and answers inquiries from the public. It also serves as the liaison between the district and the community and assists in coordinating media coverage of the educational process in Davis schools.

Residents of Davis County have consistently supported the district's efforts to upgrade its facilities, approving five bond measures since 2002, including a $475 million bond in 2022.
The district has earned a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for 38 consecutive years from the Government Finance Officers Association.
