Risk Management

Mission and Vision

To protect district assets, promote safety and prevent losses through proactive, collaborative loss control and claim management in partnership with participating entities of the district and risk fund.

It is our policy to provide a safe, health and accident-free environment for everyone. However, excellent safe and healthy conditions do not occur by chance.  They are the result of diligent work and careful attention to all district policies by everyone.

Our safety and health program has been developed to assure this district's compliance with federal, state and local regulations with an emphasis on the Utah Occupational Safety and Health standards and Utah State Risk Management guidelines as they apply to our operations. Safety demands cooperation on everyone's part.  Thus, it is important that communications be kept open at all times.

Employees who notice hazards or other safety problems, or feel they need additional training, should notify management.  Management must address these concerns and take corrective action when warranted. It is also the duty of employees to perform their work with maximum regard for the safety of themselves, co-workers and students.
