Golf - Jr. High
This year we welcomed students from 10 Jr. High Schools to participate in our Golf Intro Day, and subsequent 3 day mini-camp where athletes and partners learned skills (putting, chipping, and driving). They then showcased their new talents at an awards night. We look forward to offering this fun event again next spring/summer!
Decathlon - Elementary
Although the Davis Decathlon has been a tradition for many years, in 2021, we added a Unified component. Students with and without disabilities are able to work together to compete in 10 different events; jumprope, cup stacking, 200M dash, basketball dribbling, accuracy throw, push-ups, curl-ups, long jump, sit-n-reach, and shuttle run. We look forward to this event every spring!
Snowshoe - Elementary
We are excited to introduce Unified Snowshoe to our elementary schools this coming winter. Last year, 10 schools received snowshoes and instruction on how to use them. We look forward to a fun event with Utah Special Olympics!
