Elementary Year 1 Support Group

Welcome to Davis School District!

Our Elementary Year 1 Support Group is a professional learning experience designed for teachers who have not yet completed a full year of teaching. Our in-person sessions are hosted by an experienced Mentor Teacher Leader and include make and take activities.

Our Mentor Teacher Leaders are energetic, highly effective teachers who are masters at their grade level content and instructional approaches. Their sessions are engaging, informative, and offer new teachers a chance to reflect, experience instructional strategies, and collaborate within a grade level-focused community of practice.
