Woods Cross High

Woods Cross High School recently hosted its annual Multicultural Night, celebrating the diverse cultures within the community. The event featured performances by students, including dances by the Pacific Islanders of Woods Cross, and showcased artwork from various elementary schools.

Althea, a junior, highlighted the event's significance: "Tonight is the night that we celebrate all these different cultures in our Multicultural showcase and just celebrating our individuality and unity."

Sarah Johnson, principal of Bolton Elementary, noted the participation of seven schools, each representing different cultures. She shared her excitement about a family from New Zealand showcasing their heritage.

The event emphasized the importance of understanding and celebrating one's heritage, with students and families proudly displaying their cultural backgrounds. Johnson concluded, "Students see that their differences are actually what makes them the most unique and special that they can be."
