I have always enjoyed being around children, learning about them, observing them, and caring for them. I took every class I could to learn about children knowing that I was interested in it, but wondering if it was the career path for me to pursue. I am going to combine my love for children and for nutrition by going into Dietetics and specializing in child nutrition. I am glad that CTE offers so many classes where we can discover what we like while in high school rather than in college. If more students would take advantage of this opportunity, versus spending their senior year taking home release, it would save them a lot of time and money in college.
