Internships/Work-Based Learning

Work-Based Learning is a program that allows students to gain real-world experience and skills by participating in internships, apprenticeships, or other forms of work placements related to their career interests. WBL helps students to explore different career options, develop professional networks, and earn academic credits or credentials while working. These WBL opportunities prepare students for the transition from school to work or postsecondary education. They help students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are essential for success in the 21st century workplace, such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity. WBL also helps students to discover their passions, strengths, and goals, and to make informed decisions about their future education and career paths.
