The Davis School District Board of Education recently departed the district office for a bus tour highlighting several school construction and remodeling projects currently underway.
During the tour, board members visited the new Career and Technical Education buildings at Clearfield High School and Bountiful High School, along with the Catalyst Center Phase 2 expansion project.
The tour focused on the continued growth of Career and Technical Education programs and the district’s efforts to create modern learning environments that support student preparation for high-demand careers. District leaders explained that programs included in each facility are based on workforce demand and the specific needs of the communities those schools serve.
Board members walked through classrooms, labs and other instructional spaces while discussing project progress with the district’s Facilities Administrator and Career and Technical Education Director. Members of the Superintendency also participated in the tour.
The bus tour gave board members an opportunity to view multiple projects across the district and learn more about how construction investments are supporting the future of Career and Technical Education in Davis School District.
