Clearfield High School Seniors Learn Life-Saving Skills

Clearfield High School Seniors took a crucial step towards saving lives recently by learning the Heimlich maneuver, CPR, and AED use. Davis School District Nurse Erik Rodgers has dedicated nearly two decades to nursing. He engages students to want to help in critical events. His vibrant stories and practical tips make learning about emergency situations both informative and memorable. Let's face it, nobody wants to think about a loved one in a medical crisis. But being prepared can make all the difference. Nurse Rodgers’ message is clear: when in doubt, act. Whether it's calling 911, locating the nearest AED, or offering comfort, every little bit counts. Let's empower ourselves to be everyday heroes.

From cyber security to construction, TechHers offered 13 breakout sessions, giving these young trailblazers a taste of what's possible.
