Foxboro Elementary School is excited to introduce Morgan Tate as the new Assistant Principal, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the school community. Tate, who brings a rich background in education and a deep commitment to student success, is eager to begin working with the students, families and staff of Foxboro.
Tate's journey to becoming an Assistant Principal at Foxboro Elementary is a story of passion, dedication and a lifelong commitment to education. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was adopted at a young age and moved to Utah, where she grew up in Davis County. Her inspiration to become an educator began early, sparked by an impactful 4th-grade teacher who made a lasting impression on her. This inspiration led Tate to pursue a degree in education, attending Weber State University for her undergraduate studies and later earning a master’s degree from Southern Utah University.
After graduating from Weber State University, Tate began her teaching career in the Davis School District, where she taught 1st grade. Seeking adventure, she then moved to St. George, where she expanded her teaching experience by working with both 1st and 4th graders. Her love for sports, outdoor adventures, and traveling has always been a significant part of her life. She also has a passion for working out, reading, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and her Goldendoodle, Rocco.
Recently, Tate moved back to Davis County and is thrilled to bring her experiences and energy to Foxboro Elementary. She is excited to join such a vibrant and dedicated community of educators, students and families.
“I am deeply committed to supporting every student’s journey towards academic success and personal growth,” Tate said.
Tate's priority is to foster an environment where students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. Her enthusiasm for joining the Foxboro Falcons is palpable, and she is looking forward to meeting the students and families in the coming weeks.
“I am truly excited to be a part of the Foxboro Elementary School community,” Tate said.
