Viewmont High Sweethearts Dance is this Saturday, February 8th in the VHS Gym. Tickets are $25 per couple and are on sale this week during lunch in the commons.

Tickets are $10 per person for Reserved Seating in your school section.
At noon on Friday, January 31, 2025, the ticket sections for 5A/6A schools will then become available for purchase to the public. Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office at the UCCU Center, but fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time online.

Viewmont High School is having a FAFSA completion open house to help with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) during our parent-teacher conferences on February 3rd from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm in the Media Center Computer Lab.
Why file the FAFSA?
Filing the FAFSA gives students access to:
Federal aid includes grants, scholarships, work-study jobs, and student loans.
State aid and state scholarships.
Institutional aid and scholarships.
FAFSA completion is also required for some private scholarships.
Students who attend this event and complete a survey will be entered into a $500 FAFSA scholarship drawing!
Nominations are now open for the Best of Davis Awards! The Best of Davis Awards honor those who exemplify excellence in their work and make a lasting impact on our students and community. Awardees are selected from nominations submitted by coworkers, supervisors, parents and students. Please take the time to nominate someone who deserves this recognition.

Come and support the VHS Symphony Chorus at their concert on Wednesday, January 29th at 7:00 pm in the VHS Auditorium. Tickets are general admission and will cost $5 to help cover the cost of music. This is an amazing group of students in choir, band and orchestra.

Viking Preview will be held January 30th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at VHS. There will be an open house from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and a registration presentation in the auditorium at 6:30 pm.
Viking Preview is a fun and informative event for future Viewmont students and their guardians to learn about the registration process and visit with teachers, coaches, club advisors, and counselors.
