District board members and administrators holding shovels for Layton high School groundbreaking

Davis School District recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a $32 million project aimed at expanding and improving Layton High School. The project includes the addition of 14 new classrooms dedicated to performing arts, science, and family and consumer sciences, along with interior corridor remodeling to alleviate congestion.

This initiative is funded by the Davis School District’s $475 million Building Generations bond, approved by voters in 2022.
